To use your hosting account, you need a domain name that directs browsers, email, and so on to the correct Syntax Internet server. The name can be managed by Syntax Internet's Domain Service or any other registrar of your choice, but it must point to our name servers. Your registrar will require you to specify a primary and a secondary DNS name server address. The relevant addresses are:
Please note that the changes will not take effect immediately. It can take a day or two for the new DNS information to be propogated throughout the internet's name servers.NS1.TRUEDNS.CO.UK

You can use Syntax Internet's Domain Service to check whether the domain name you are interested in is available. If it is, you can purchase it online.
If you already have a domain name, you can transfer it to Syntax Internet's Domain Service to take advantage of out easy domain management tools. Alternatively, you can leave it with your existing registrar and simply have them point the name to our DNS servers.
